How to Triple Your Reading Speed in 20 Minutes - Tim Ferriss

I'm re-posting this to report what I have discovered when trying out this technique.  I must say I was amazed by the simplicity of it and the results it produced.  I didn't even do all the things Tim talks about here, I just set a timer on my phone for 1 minute, and read my normal book - The Power Of Positive Thinking- and noted how much I covered (about 1 page).  I then just tried a rough version of the "margins" method he showed here - I didn't mark the pages or adhere to this strictly, I just tried to consciously read in from the left and not read to the end of the line, and I couldn't quite believe how much faster I was reading!  I am going to keep this up and also try the exercise on reading as fast as possible, beyond the comprehension window, then take it back a notch until I do understand it all, and compare the results again.

A great tip, that actually works!

Success means wonderful, positive things in life. Success means personal financial gain: a dream home, lavish vacations, and travel, financial security, giving your children the best of life.

The key to an amazing life is understanding the difference between wishful thinking and belief. Belief generates the willpower to take action and acquire the knowledge to do big things.

You have to build real practical skills; you can't just sit around and use positive thinking as a crutch. If you could have a different life if you could change something about your life, what would it be?

What if everything you ever dream of could be real?

If you could believe that you can move mountains then you can change it by thinking big.

What is Wishful Thinking?

Wishful thinking is basically daydreaming. Wishing or imagining something would happen that isn't exactly realistic. A long habit of mere wishful thinking makes you lazy. You become frustrated, rational thinking with ACTION can only produce results.

Wishful thinking makes a successful outcome harder to reach. For any definition of success, reaching it starts within oneself. Any artificial goals or constraints along the way are obstacles and distractions, wishful thinking is one of the most dangerous of those.

Looking at things not as they are, but as they can be. Visualization as value to everything. A big thinker always visualizes what can be done in the future, He isn't stuck with the present.

How would you like to adopt the mind changing experience of successful people? Thinking big could do magic in our lives, We all want the good things in life, better jobs, new home, new cars, and vacations.

If we change our mind to think big it gives us the motivation to take action to have happiness and create the success we want rather than doubting ourselves the ability to live out our dreams.

Thinking big is about achieving your goals and having everything you want in life. As I mentioned earlier people who are big thinkers get big things in life.

Where you focus your thinking builds momentum, and attracts new opportunities that will help you reach your goal and the desires of life.

If want a better life then you have to do a little more than wishful thinking, you have to take action to make things happen. Doing what everyone else doing is not enough.

We have to think about our goals and achievements. Many people get so caught up in their daily routine of life that they drive themselves into depression and frustration of their current situation wishing things were better.

Staying positive and focus on our dreams and take control over our thoughts believing that our dreams can become a reality. Sculpting our future desires to become happy in life. Believing that we can create wealth, happiness, love, peace in our lives. Shifting our thinking that empowers us to gain access to an amazing life.

What is belief? It's feeling of certainty about something. Belief is a huge element that holds the key to an amazing life. It's about putting your faith in the unbelievable. It's your belief that allows opportunities to show up in your life.

Most people limit their belief by thinking that they can't have the best in life. The Key to an amazing life is changing our thinking habits and start thinking big, believing in the possibilities.

Positive thinking will change your life. You are where you are in life because you have chosen to stay right there. If you want to have the key to an amazing life then you must choose to take action to get to where you want to be in life.

Think Big Without Limitation

Imagine if you were making $10,000 a month with your business, and your goal is to make more money next year. What would be your goal to increase your income? The average person would probably say an extra $5000. But big thinkers would say $50,000-$100,000 why? Because of their belief and positive thinking will open up doors that will allow them to achieve their goals without limitation.

Whatever your goals that you want to have, whether it's to be happy, a better relationship, a better marriage, financial freedom, dream home, dream car, we all have the desire to live an amazing life without limitation.

The key to an amazing life is thinking big, belief and trusting that our goals are possible to achieve.
